How to play Deep Mine
Click the rock face to swing your pick. Every swing chips away at the seam in front of you, and breaking a seam pays out ore. That is the entire game at the start, and it stays that simple — everything else is built on top of it.
Spend ore on upgrades. A sharper pick means each click does more damage. Hiring miners means damage happens on its own, every second, whether or not you are clicking. Most players end up somewhere between the two.
The deeper you go, the tougher the seams and the better the payout. Rock gives way to iron, iron to obsidian, and each layer needs roughly an order of magnitude more damage than the one above it.
Your mine keeps running when you leave. Close the tab, come back tomorrow, and your crew will have banked everything they dug while you were away — up to a generous offline cap. Progress saves to your browser automatically.
Tips and strategy
- Early on, pick damage beats hiring miners. Once you are clicking as fast as you comfortably can, that flips permanently — put everything into the crew.
- Do not hoard ore. An upgrade you can afford now compounds for the rest of the run; ore sitting in the bank does nothing at all.
- The layer transitions are the real difficulty spikes. If progress stalls hard, you almost certainly need one more tier of crew rather than more clicking.
